Red pepper has a strong spicy aroma and taste from spicy to spicy and even very hot (due to the content of the phenolic compound capsaicin (vanillamide decylenic acid), which is not present in sweet bell pepper). Capsaicin is found in the seeds, veins and skin of the fruit. Red pepper contains large amounts of vitamins C and A. Green pepper (unripe red pepper) contains significantly less of these vitamins. In addition, pepper is a good source of b vitamins and in particular vitamin B6. Red pepper is also rich in potassium, magnesium and iron. In addition to capsaicin, 1.5% of essential oil, fatty oil, are found in the fruits.
