Spice Curry powder, 100 gr, Sri Lanka
Description Spice Curry powder, 100 gr, Sri Lanka
Curry (from Tamil kari) seasoning of a mixture of spices root turmeric, which arose, apparently, in India, to date, widespread everywhere.
turmeric Itself, having a strong smell, has a weak, inexpressive and partly unpleasant taste, so it is "improved" by adding other components. Curry has a mild taste (although there are sharp variants of the mixture) and a strong characteristic aroma. A classic mandatory component of seasoning is the leaf of the plant curry(Murray Koenig), however, due to the low availability, it is often replaced by fenugrek.
In India, as a rule, the mixture is made just before use from fresh components, the composition is not fixed and is determined "to taste". Outside India, curry is known as a dry powder.
is Used for flavouring and colouring rice, vegetables, meat birds non-alcoholic beverages.
